Phu Le communal house is situated at Phu Khuong village, Phu Le commune, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. The communal house was built in 1826 under 7th Minh Mang dynasty.

Steps and foundation were built with blue stones. The communal house includes ten compartments: six main compartments and four side ones, modeled as “Dinh” word (Sino-Vietnamese). The communal house’s columns are made of ironwood, 40cm in diameter, tiled roofs in fish scales shape.

Phu Le communal house is described with largest scale and most beautiful one in all coastal villages of Ben Tre province. The house is located in a large area, under shadows of ancient trees. Over time and wars, the house and artifacts inside such as: incense burner, horizontal board, etc. have been degraded and much damaged. However, basic parts of the architecture have been kept until now.
Phu Le communal house is recognized as art and architectural relic by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Every year, the festival at Phu Le communal house is held twice: Ky Yen festival on 18th and 19th of March whishing for favorable weather condition and Cau Bong festival on 9th and 10th of November wishing for good harvest.
