Mr Dang Ngoc Dung – Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai People’s Committee said: to prevent Covid – 19, Quang Ngai decided to temporarily close welcome visitor to Ly Son island from March 9.
Quang Ngai also encourages foreigners who are on Ly Son Island to return to the mainland soon. They will do this campaign until the outbreak of Covd- 19 is controlled.
Quang Ngai stop welcoming visitor enter Ly Son island and strict medical examination for visitors.
Quang Ngai People’s Committee also recommend that the inhabitant restrict access to the island at this time. All passengers on the Sa Ky – Ly Son way will be under strict medical examination.
Ly Son is located in northeast of Quang Ngai province, 15 nautical miles from the mainland with an area of over 10.3 km2. Ly Son island have 2 islands which are Big island – An Vinh commune, An Hai and Small island – An Binh commune. This destination welcome over 250.000 visitors each year.
